A Post Graduate in Structural Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, Narayanan Kameswaran has over 12 years' experience in Commercial Software Development applied to the domains of Architectural, Engineering , Construction (AEC) and Civil & Structural Engineering.

He has also handled several Structural Design Projects varying from Multistorey Residential Buildings to RCC & Prestressed Concrete Highway & Railway Bridges, Stadia Structures, Wind Mill Towers, Transmission Line & Antenna Towers and Space Grids. He also has a number of Technical Publications to his credit.

  • Secured Bharathiar University First Rank (1984-88) in Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and received the Gold Medal.
  • Secured the Best Project Award from the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madras for the project work done at the undergraduate level on Planning and Design of a Distillery.
  • Secured Anna University First Rank (1989-91) in Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering.
  • Master of Engineering Thesis: An Expert System for Analysis, Design, Drafting and Material Estimation of Steel Structures (SD-EXPERT). This thesis is the first of its kind on Steel Structures which involved the development of the Knowledge-Based Expert System SD-EXPERT and was adjudged as the Best Thesis.
