Q. What is the primary function of SCADDS/Rate Manager 2002?

A. SCADDS/Rate Manager 2002 is meant for maintaining Rates of various types of items for Building Works such as Men, Machinery, Material and Carriage. You can change the Rate of any particular entry under each classification almost instantly. Moreover, you can also add, edit and remove types of Men (Labour), Machinery, Material and Carriage.

Q. Does it support the use of same material from different manufacturers/suppliers?

A. Yes, of course. For example, you can have Cement of Brand-A and that of Brand-B and select the brand of your choice in the Item of work. Once you make your choice, the chosen brand will be automatically included in Rate Analysis, Carriage as well as all Calculations & Reports. There is no limit to the number of such brands you can add to any Item.

Q. What features are available in customizing Carriage Rates?

A. You can select and modify the Carriage Rate of any Item based on the Distance of Transportation, Initial Overheads, Loading & Unloading Charges, etc.

Q. Does it support various Measurement Units?

A. Yes! SCADDS/Rate Manager 2002 supports various Units of Measurements for Length, Area, Volume and Weight so that you can select (and change whenever you want) the Unit of your choice.

Q. Can I view all the Items and their Rates under each Group, viz., Men, Machinery, Material & Carriage?
