SCADDS/Item Scheduler 2002 is meant for managing Item Specifications,
Item Compositions (for advanced purposes) and performing Rate Analysis
for various Items of Works.

What are the Items of Works for which Rate Analysis is available?
A.
Rate Analysis is available for Earthwork, PCC, RCC, Pre-cast
Concrete, Pile Foundations, Steel Reinforcement, Roofing, Flooring,
Cement Mortar, Plastering, Skirting & Dadoing, Painting, Finishing,
Brick work, Stone work, Preparatory work, Damp Proof Course, Plinth
Protection and Weathering Course.

Why Rate Analysis is not available for certain items?
A.
In the current version, Rate Analysis is not made available
for certain secondary items such as Water Supply, Electrical work, etc.,
since these works are entrusted to sub-contractors (who specialize in
those items of works) by the main contractor in most situations. However,
the next version of SCADDS/Item Scheduler 2002 will include Rate Analysis
for these items.

Can I view or print all Item Specifications and their Compound
Rates for any given project?

Yes, you can!

Is there an easy way to select the required Item Specifications
from all available Items for a given project?
A.
Yes, absolutely! You can use Readymade Item Specification
Templates to achieve this. We have already classified all Items of Works
under various Parent Groups. These Readymade Templates would further
simplify their selection process!

Does it support various Measurement Units?
A.
Yes! It supports various Units of Measurements so that you
can select (and change whenever you want to) the Unit of your choice.

Can SCADDS/Item Scheduler 2002 prepare Charts?
A.
Yes! Charts of various styles and content will be automatically
prepared for all Items of Works which have Rate Analysis. With these
charts, you can quickly visualize the usage of Men, Machinery, Material
& Carriage for any Item of Work.

What features are available in customizing Carriage Rates?
A.
You can select and modify the Carriage Rate of any Item based
on the Distance of Transportation, Initial Overheads, Loading &
Unloading charges, etc.

WHAT-NEXT? Advisor is an Innovation from SCADDS. You will
find this feature in almost all SCADDS products. In SCADDS/Item Scheduler
