Q. What are the functions of SCADDS/RC-Footing Drafter?

A. SCADDS/RC-Footing Drafter is meant for automatically preparing detailed drawings for Reinforced Concrete wall footings, Isolated Rectangular or Circular Footings and Combined Rectangular or Trapezoidal Footings.

Q. Will SCADDS/RC-Footing Drafter carry out detailing automatically?

A. Yes! You can obtain a truly professional drawing for a typical isolated rectangular footing in less than 2 minutes flat! That too, to any scale of your choice with your own custom drafting standards, using AutoCAD. Similarly, a typical combined rectangular footing will be generated in less than 3 minutes flat!

Q. What is the input required to be given for detailing a footing?

A. The input will include dimensions for the columns and the footing base and reinforcement details.

Q. What is the output generated by SCADDS/RC-Footing Drafter?

A. In case of Isolated footings, the output will contain the section of the footing about X-axis, about Y-axis and the plan of the footing. In case of Combined footings, the output will contain the section of the footing about X-axis, and the plans at top and bottom of the footing. You will also have the choice of restricting the drawing generation to either the sections or plans or combinations thereof. (Top)
